Freddie Lam, Founder and Managing Partner, Hong Kong

Freddie Lam has led the strategic entry of the key business segments and delivery of key search assignments since the founding of the firm in 2009 . He has over 25 years of experience in business & corporate development,  business operations and investment management at multinational and public listed companies in the Asia Pacific Region. 

 

Prior to founding AP Elite, he was Managing Director of iBAHN Asia Pacific, Director of Corporate Business Development at Sunevision Holdings (HKSE:08008) and Country Sales Director of Apple Computer China. He also held senior sales management position at Unisys China/Hong Kong and IT management consulting role at PriceWaterhouse in his early career. Mr Lam served on the boards of several high tech porfolio companies under Sunevision Venture and a joint venture company with the Chinese Academy of Science. 
 

Mr Lam holds an MBA and Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from the Univerisity of Hong Kong. His industry expertise is in Real estate, Consumer product/services and investment.

 

Fred Chow, Partner, Hong Kong

Fred Chow is an advertising and executive search veteran with over 30 years of experience in the Greater China Region. Mr Chow held senior account management positions with major multinational agencies Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson, Bates and Saatchi & Saatch serving a diversified portfolio of clients in his early career. He started his executive search career as a Director with Singapore based Executive Search firm LTA & Co in 1993 and is the founder of his own search firm covering senior executive search for the Greater China region. 

 

Mr Chow holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His industry expertise is in FMCG, Advertising, Media, Travel and Retail.

 

 

Nancy Lee, Partner, Shanghai

Nancy Lee is an HR and executive search veteran with over 35 years of experience in the Greater China Region. In her early corporate career, Ms Lee held senior HR positions at multinational companies of various industries including Mattel Toys, Kenner Parker, Lacoste, Pierre Cardin and Izod. She was lastly the Asia Pacific HR head of a leading US agricultural product company.

 

She started her executive search career in 1996 as the Founder and Director of her own search firm in the PRC, operating out of Shanghai and extending to Beijing with her consulting and research teams.

 

Ms Lee is based in Shanghai and her industry expertise is in real estate, consumer product/services and industrial markets.

 

 

Jane Cheung, Managing Consultant, Beijing

Jane Cheung has over 18 years of professional human resources and administration experience at reputable MNCs across the Hospitality, IT/Telecom, Venture Capital, Management Consulting industries. She has over 5 years of executive recruitment experience at McKinsey & Company, where she managed recruitment of experienced/senior local and expatriate consultants for Asia Pacific. Prior to that, Jane was Head of Executive Assistant Team of McKinsey & Company. In her early career, she held housekeeping and administration management positions in InterContinental Hotel Group, a Holiday Inn hotel in Guangzhou.

 

Ms Cheung is experienced in managing recruitment of experienced local and expatriate professionals, with a specialization in placing top tier management consulting professionals to senior corporate executive positions in China. Her industry expertise is in management consulting, hospitality and food & beverage.

 

Born and grew up in Guangdong, China, Jane has lived in Beijing for over 15 years and is a native speaker of Chinese Mandarin.
